Clytha in Car Accident

If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thanks for visiting!

On Sunday, Feb 3 Clytha was in a car accident near Osceola on her way home from Des Moines. We got an update this morning from them. The area got around a foot of snow on Sunday.

Clytha lost control of her car and hit a semi tanker truck and the gas tank fell off, so they had to have hazmat come clean it up. The car was towed in after the tow ban was lifted and they are saying it was totaled and that she is lucky to be alive.

Clytha has a lot of bruises, a cut on the nose, her knee is in a brace and is on crutches, she will be out of commission for a while.

Thankfully friends of the family were able to get her out of the hospital on Tuesday and get her home where is now recovering. The town and family friends have been wonderful and brought her many gifts and plenty of food so that she will not have to good for a while.

Thanks to everyone and your warm wishes. If you’d like to send her a get well card please leave a comment and someone will send you her address (Please be sure to fill in a real email address).
